Hardwood flooring come in wide range but differs in styles and dimensions. Engineered wood can easily use floating installations, which are very easy to repair and have the capability to decrease the time of installation. There are various techniques which are used for engineered hard wood installation which help people a lot in faster installation e.g. Click System- here one side of the wood board contain hole or groove and the other side contain a kind of clipping system which is called as tongue, for attachment board must be in some angle so that the tongue can easily fit into it. This click system is only used for engineered hard wood floors but people are also using this system for floating installation.

Second type of system use mill-specific techniques, in this technique holes are made on all four sides of the wooden board and a piece of rubber, plastic or wood is used to connect these boards. Thinner wood pieces can be fitted easily with the help of nails, and the thicker pieces are used in floating floors. While making floating floor, there is no need to use nails or some kind of pasting material as it is a new technology, and is very popular nowadays for flooring installations.

Engineered hard wood is real wood but it would be best if people use plywood inside while constructing floors as it provides an extra strength and stability to the engineered hardwood floor installation. Engineered hard wood floor installation is somewhat expensive as compared to other installation but after using this installation it turns to be very much durable and it has very less maintenance cost. So, use of engineered hard wood flooring is suggestible for decorating house, offices and other areas where it can be used.
